Class Action Lawsuit Against Pueblo Bonito In Mexico

Are there any other owners out there that are willing to come forward to tell their stories about Pueblo Bonito and possibly participate in a Class Action law suit against them? If so, please contact me. We should not be out thousands of dollars and expected to pay for services promised that have not been delivered. Comment below if you have any experiences dealing with the crooks at Pueblo Bonito in Mexico.

  1. Salesperson has client sign a waiver giving up their 5 day right to cancel as it is a special one-day only offer. This is illegal in Mexico. I read an article about Pueblo Bonito timeshare scam ah http://www.timesharescam.com/

    1. Hi Doris, My husband and I were given a timeshare 9 years ago and after visiting with the sales people, we have upgraded several times. PB makes it very difficult to use, we can not use their sister properties, and over the last year, we have been getting phone calls about selling. Apparently, someone sold our information to the Black Market. We would love to get rid of this costly hassle. Were you successful? I am very leery ... Would love to hear your feedback.

  6. I was scammed too and they will only cancel my contract if I acknowledge I won't request a refund. Of my deposit over 4500. I am wicked pissed. The customer service rep acknowledged the 5 days but said I was past it and then said there was no provision for refund. Totally illegal. I'm trying to get credit card company to get back refund but I don't know if I'll get it.

  7. We own a timeshare at Sunset Beach and at Rose. For at least three years now the resort mysteriously never has any availability when I call but has plenty of availability for people booking through the hotel side and paying three times the price. Seems a little ridiculous considering I have already paid my maintenance fee for the year!!!

  11. We were also scammed in March of 2017 by Mark Biddle. We tried to get our $3500 credit card charge reversed but Chase the contract has a clause that says 'anything said to you has no bearing on this contract'. We canceled our credit card and contract but now they are saying that we can't cancel the contract. It was suppose to be a try before you buy with no timeshare involved. We would definitely join a class action lawsuit.

  12. My husband and I were given a timeshare from a friend 9 years ago. We have since upgraded several times to the Montecristo. Same as above. They never have availability to us, but they sure do on line. They make it impossible to golf at Quivira. In addition, we have been getting phone calls several times a month regarding selling our timeshare. One call sounded so legit, we almost did it. But had our attorney look into it first. t was the Black Market. I was just contacted by an attorney in Mexico City (allegedly) who is looking into all this. I am now trying to do my due diligence to see if even his call is real. I would LOVE to be a part of whatever you all hear and I will do the same. So frustrated!

  15. Unfortunately there is little you can do to cancel once the 5 day right of recission is over. I would join a class action lawsuit based on being told one thing and it not being true down the road. I have heard a lot of different stories but we have owned for a while. The newest thing is that they focus on weddings and private events and close down the amenities when you are there to provide them to fresh paying parties. I have tried to go to the Sky Pool 5 times and only twice could I use it as it was closed for private events. Employees quietly agree it is wrong but are told to send complaints to manager (Manuel) who gives run-around and sends you to guest services and then back, repeat. Sad....but Pueblo Bonito has become the stereotypical timeshare company in Mexico.

  21. My wife and I were scammed as well. We were told that we could trade our timeshare week at PB Sunset Beach for other destinations, Hawaii, Cruises, etc... If we did not want to use it in Cabo. How do we join in on this class action lawsuit?

  22. After owning a timeshare with this company for years we started having big problems with the changes in their payment politics until we had no way to continue. We tried to contact them to solve the problem but never received a positive answer until we found an association which made an analysis of our contract and helped us find a way out, in the end we cancelled our timeshare. The association is named PFCM MX.

  23. I own weeks 52 and 53 at Pueblo Bonito Rose and week 51 at Pueblo Bonito Sunset. In the fall of 2020 u.s. government was warning against travel to the Cabo San Lucas Area both for cobus problems and gang wars. Air travel at the time was very difficult to acquire safely and Cabo San Lucas Area itself is so congested it could hardly be made safe for the crowds that were normally they're over Christmas and New Year's. in addition locally we were looking at a two-week quarantine period after returning. My note to the Pueblo Bonito group was that I considered the timeshare is unusable in the Cabo San Lucas Area that year and as such I was refusing to pay maintenance fees which I had been doing for over 30 years religiously. they refused even hear any subject about this and are unwilling to make any kind of concessions as to those fees. Now they are threatening collection and Credit Bureau dings. has anyone else had those particular issues and if so did you ever get it corrected? Please rate me at my email address. thank you for your help in advance
